why your job is really…to go get a career.
Hello beautiful,
So this whole new year, whole new you thing – are you enjoying it? I have to joyfully say that I AM thoroughly embracing 2012.
Part of that joy comes from hanging out with all of you on a regular basis (even if it’s in cyberspace),
And the other is because I am so excited to start the year helping people transition from their jobs to the careers that they have dreamed of and are creating.
Do you know the difference between a job and a career? I hope so, because it’s a key mindset shift that is critical to your business success.
In this week’s Jen Don’t Lie video, I share my definition, and also we have a very special guest star you don’t want to miss.
(hint: he’s an artist and an inventor and spent most of his life doing a job, until he figured out what he really wanted was a career)
Do you have a job or a career? And…how’s that working for ya? Comment below and win good karma.

Thank you so much for this post. I’m currently in a crossroad with my working path. I’m going to college and I thought I was going to become a Nurse. I finally realized I would be better as a Communication major. Now I am kinda lost of what I am really passionate about.
